This is absolutely brilliant. Absolutely. Brilliant.
Vincente (hat tip) from Criticker Movie Blog put it better than I would hope to do myself:
“Although missing the classic score and sound effects, such as Darth Vader’s breathing or the lightsaber’s hum, Star Wars is strangely compelling as a silent film. With dramatically costumed actors scurrying about futuristic sets, one could almost see the film as a precursor to Metropolis.”

More than meets the visible light spectrum

So I was playing around & experimenting just now with an 8-minute star trail shot I took the other night (playing around/experimenting = something didn’t work the way I wanted, in this case, it was so dark I couldn’t find anything on which to focus, & the entire scene is horrendously blurry), & while adding some color overlays I needed to know what color was opposite blue (turns out it’s yellow). Naturally, I sauntered on over to Google’s Image Search (which suddenly has a totally new functionality) & looked for …
