Vincente (hat tip) from Criticker Movie Blog put it better than I would hope to do myself:
“Although missing the classic score and sound effects, such as Darth Vader’s breathing or the lightsaber’s hum, Star Wars is strangely compelling as a silent film. With dramatically costumed actors scurrying about futuristic sets, one could almost see the film as a precursor to Metropolis.”

I’ve just stumbled upon (no affiliation to the highly addictive site) what appears to be a wonderfully useful site for international travelers: Forvo.com. Despite some cursory searching, I don’t know what forvo means, though I can tell you it’s based out of San Sebastián, Spain.
Essentially, it’s a foreign language pronunciation guide (the largest in the world according to their about page) that relies on users to submit audio files of themselves saying words in various languages. When you sign up it even requires you to mark on a (Google) map …

Success! Ok, so I’m not quite ready to open a handmade stationary shop, but I still made paper dammit! And it actually looks pretty darn good. I’ve got three sheets finished, now I want to start looking into playing with using other fibers. I’ve been told banana fibers are gaining a good deal of popularity in India, but the extraction process is less than pleasant. I think I’ll look into other possibilities first.
