How you shoot it

So I’m not yet what one might call “up-to-date.” I’m gettin’ there.

On 18 February Art Wolfe had a great post by guest blogger Canadian photographer & writer Younes Bounhar called FINDING YOUR STYLE. In it, Bounhar offers five tips to help any photographer – professional, hobbyist or otherwise – better define their own personal style:

    1. Study the work of other artists
    2. Get off the beaten path
    3. Try something different
    4. Break the rules
    5. Take photography workshops

Each tip includes a paragraph or two with some great thoughts on how to solidify your personality into each of your photos. And why not? I mean really, wouldn’t all of us love to have our names nounified in relation to our art?

“Oooooo, that’s a normalityrelief if I’ve ever seen one!”
